Located in a majestic XVII-century palace, Casa do Alentejo is much more than a restaurant: it is a journey through the history and tradition of the Alentejo. Formerly an aristocratic palace and later the elegant Majestic Club, this building combines architectural beauty with the warmth of Alentejo culture.

Today, it is a living space that celebrates the roots and spirit of a unique region, hosting cultural events, exhibitions, recitals, and, of course, authentic cuisine that pays tribute to the flavors of southern Portugal.

Dinner will begin with a traditional Portuguese “couvert” (bread, olives, regional cheese, and cold cuts). From the selected menu, guests will enjoy:

• “À Brás”-style vegetables

The meal will conclude with dessert. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages are included.

Talking Circles are a distinctive feature of our in-person conference – and this year we are taking them online. Talking Circles offer an opportunity to meet other delegates and engage in extended discussion about the issues and concerns they feel are of utmost importance to that segment of the Research Network.
