  Britt Braaten has worked as a Creative Development Specialist (interpretive planner) and Learning Specialist at the Canadian War Museum since 2012. In that time, she took a two year interchange placement at the Canada Science and Technology Museum to be part of the exhibition teams developing eleven new permanent galleries. Britt has a particular interest in identifying new ways of communicating information in exhibitions, in order to expand audience appeal. Prior to 2012, Britt worked at the Multicultural History Society of Ontario, where she specialised in oral history and digital heritage. As a student, she completed an internship at the Immigration Museum in Melbourne, Australia, working under the head of Community Engagement.
