Abstract
Proyecto Slam is, as far as I have been able to gather, the only poetry slam workshop program integrated into the curricula of the schools in which it is delivered. It has been running for over a decade now in various secondary schools in and around the city of Jaen and is targeted at students undergoing the first four years of obligatory secondary education. This presentation considers its origins, along with the psychological and neurolinguistic foundations of the program.
