Abstract
Research work is one of the mandates in any university in the Philippines. The study aims to investigate the condition of research culture in selected higher learning institutions. Mixed method research is used to obtain the holistic output of the study. Results show that most universities in the Philippines fail to produce valuable and significant findings for the needs of the community and the country.
