Abstract
This paper examines the integration of WhatsApp as a communication tool within community college mathematics classes. Over a three-year period, from spring 2021 to fall 2023, WhatsApp was utilized to facilitate collaboration, provide real-time assistance, and enhance student engagement. Significant improvements were observed in student retention, assessment submission rates, and end-of-year grades through a series of methods, including instant communication, homework reminders, and supplementary material distribution. This study outlines the implementation strategies and key findings, highlighting the potential of WhatsApp to positively impact mathematics education in community college settings.
