Abstract
Plagiarism has been in existence since the 1600s. However, this issue became more disturbing when the internet became popular, offering vast room for opportunities including access to materials and resources for students. This unprincipled act must surely be taken care of to make sure good students’ character and research habits for scholars are in line with moral merits and values. So many scholars and experts in different areas have offered different solutions for curbing plagiarism. In this paper, we review different methods proposed by scholars in curbing plagiarism and share which methods are believed to be yielding good results.
