Abstract
This research presents an in-depth bibliometric analysis of the development of creative imagination in education by identifying related publications. The bibliographic analysis method is used to draw a comprehensive picture of the topic “Creative Imagination in Education” from 2014 to 2023 through the dimensions database. This study identifies a broad and deep topic coverage by carefully monitoring the bibliographic data. The analysis highlights changing trends and research priorities and revealed gaps in understanding the issue. The dominance of keywords such as “creativity” and “creative thinking” is evident in the analysis. However, new trends are also emerging. One of these is increased attention to the role of music and critical thinking in educational contexts, suggesting an evolution in approaches to developing creative imagination. Furthermore, there is still limited creative imagination research related to early childhood education, indicating a potential area to be further explored.
