Abstract
With the rapid development of modern technology and the deepening population aging trend, digital learning has become an inherent demand to bridge the digital divide for elderly populations. Transformative Learning Theory provides a theoretical perspective for analyzing the digital learning process of older adults, with its four classical elements - triggering events, critical reflection, rational discourse, and transformation of perspectives and behaviors - establishing a foundational framework for studying this process. To construct a digital learning process model suitable for elderly learners, it is necessary to integrate their learning characteristics and promote practical application through strategies such as providing diverse learning formats, building varied learning communities, mobilizing multi-stakeholder participation, and establishing multi-level resource support systems. This approach aims to help elderly learners achieve transformative outcomes in digital learning processes, eliminate technology-induced learning barriers, and facilitate their active integration into the digital society.
