Abstract
This work presents a discussion of the reality experienced by schools, specifically a technical professional education school in the pandemic context established by COVID-19 and the need to alternate face-to-face activities with remote activities. It reflects on the countless challenges assumed by teachers, students, families, and the entire community in this new context, and of a school that establishes new connections with the world, evidencing an announced process of metamorphosis of its spaces, relationships, and connections. We use a framework that highlights legal changes, the challenges of working with active methodologies and projects, based on Thematic Generators, the curriculum resembling a rhizomatic structure, new educational, social, and technological relationships, and the new dilemmas of the school and of people in transformation in this different world mediated by technological tools.
