Abstract
In written communication, the element we perceive of its first impression is the typography, this is how the designer assigns his communication, it’s the first contact of the receptor with the message, and it is starting from the design decisions that have always been it will be the perception that the reader cares about the message. From the moment of preparation, until the end of reading the message the receptor adopts an attitude from the first contact, as it progresses, the compromise and the feelings as a reaction go along with the message in this paralingual communication. The expressiveness of the language is accentuated due to the typographical intervention, this acts as a complement to the message, therefore, it must reinforce the idea of communication, as long as the typographical form maintains coherence with the communication of the text. This work analyzes key concepts in the creation of typographical compositions that enable correct written communication, thus minimizing the possibility of erroneous interpretations of the texts, and demonstrates, like Gestalt Psychology, it intervenes in the interpretation of the form, also in presentations as imperceptible as they are in typographic design, due to the perception of readers and the visual impact that they have in them, an impact analysis is carried out and the type of reaction that can be distinguished by the typographic selections in the readers.
