Abstract
The teaching of languages must not be constrained to merely linguistic matters. This is one of the most important guidelines stated in the Common European Framework for Languages. In the same way, education must be based on a triangule-based conception. We have to teach in terms of concepts, procedures and attitudes. This paper presents a didactic proposal based on Dickens´ works. Thanks to it, English language is managed and experienced by students in linguistic and literature terms. A set of texts by Dickens makes up the corpus of the proposal. Students work with these texts considering Bloom´s taxonomy and inductive guidelines provided by the teacher. All aspects mentioned provided a didactic paradigm that can be transferred to other literary works. In conclusion, we lead students to conceive literature in second langauge as an authentic aesthetic experience,
