Abstract
This paper is ultimately concerned with depicting the significance of academic freedom in our university higher education. Relying on the polemics of Western metaphysics, this paper is supposed to investigate teacher-student academic freedom, the pedagogical method that best fits such a kind of modern liberal education, and the kind and limits of freedom allowed in the classroom.
