Artistic Imagination: Teaching Chinese Language and Culture through Creative Expression

Abstract

This panel examines innovative approaches to teaching Chinese language and culture through various artistic mediums. Presenters will demonstrate methodologies that integrate language and culture instruction with traditional and contemporary art forms, including Chinese painting, calligraphy, museum artifacts, musical performances, tea ceremonies, and digital storytelling.
