Abstract

The current research aims to identify the level of emotional creativity among special education teachers and nutrition teachers in Abu Dhabi. To achieve the current research objectives, the researchers utilized the descriptive approach in the form of a questionnaire to assess emotional creativity. The study sampled 104 male and female teachers, all of whom were working in schools affiliated with the Ministry of Education in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. For the purposes of the study, the researchers used an emotional creativity scale consisting of a total of thirty items and four axes measuring Readiness, Novelty, Effectiveness, and Originality as a means to define emotional creativity. The results estimated that the levels of emotional creativity were at an average to high level among both special education and nutrition teachers and that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of emotional creativity between them based on gender (male, female). Statistically significant differences, however, were found in the degree of emotional creativity in favor of nutrition teachers. As a result, the study issued several recommendations.
