AI for Enhancing Physics Education
Abstract
This article examines the incorporation of Einsteinian physics (EP) into high school curriculum and the potential benefits of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into EP education. Challenges encountered by educators in teaching EP concepts are discussed alongside the necessity for innovative teaching methodologies. The article explores the role of AI in innovating educational practices, particularly in the development of dynamic educational resources such as worksheets. Examples of AI applications in EP education are demonstrated, illustrating the potential of AI to enhance student engagement and comprehension of complex scientific principles. The discussion highlights the significance of adaptability and innovation in response to the evolving educational landscape, particularly in the shift to remote learning. Directions are proposed for future research in AI-integrated EP education, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts between educators, researchers, and technology developers to fully leverage the benefits of AI. This article advances the research on integrating AI in education by providing teachers with innovative tools to tackle challenging physics concepts.
